Bio of Pastor LeVarn Shelby
Pastor LeVarn Shelby is a dedicated servant of God whose life and ministry reflect a deep commitment to worship, teaching, and community leadership. He gave his life to Christ and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit at the age of 16. In 1993, he married his wife, Mrs. LaTosha Lynn Fisher-Shelby, and together they have three children: Toshiona, LeVarn III, and LaMya.

Answering the call to ministry in 1998 and later to pastoral leadership in 2002, Pastor Shelby has faithfully served in multiple capacities including assistant pastor, associate pastor, executive pastor, district administrative assistant, minister of music, Sunday school teacher, member of the board of elders, and on numerous community boards and organizations.
​
A graduate of A.W. Wilson Bible College in Minnesota, Pastor Shelby has also served for more than 30 years in public education. His calling as both an educator and pastor reflects his passion for empowering people through knowledge, faith, and service.
​
In June 2012, Pastor Shelby founded The New Cathedral Worship Center, where he continues to serve as senior pastor. Through this ministry, the Word of God has reached lives across the nation via radio, internet broadcasts, crusades, revivals, workshops, seminars, and concerts.

Pastor Shelby is a true worshipper and gifted communicator who strives to impart all that God has invested in him into the lives of others, advancing the Kingdom of God with faith, integrity, and compassion through the word & power of God.
